What happens during a session?
After the customary greeting and settling down into our respective spaces, a session typically begins with the client sharing something that they would like to explore because it interests them or they feel it would help them. It may involve a situation at work, at home, or in between. It may involve a friend, a family member, a coworker, or even a stranger. It may simply be an emerging awareness in them that they want to explore so as to grow in that awareness. It may be something that brings them joy or causes suffering. Whatever the client brings, I welcome it. I am present to them. I listen to them with all the compassion that is in me.
After I listen to what the client has to share, I reflect something that I heard, sensed in their voice, or saw in their body that seems significant and may prove to be a path to follow. We may continue along this path or the client may choose a different path. I accompany them.
During the entire time together, I am a witness to the client's lived experience and a guide to their inner journey. If the client strays from their sensation, I may gently invite them
back to themselves. I may offer a question, a reflection, or an invitation. Just
as important as what I say is the silence, the quiet space I create for the client so that we can both honor the moment, the
experience, the sensation being lived. I find that the silences, however brief, can be just as important as the things I say.
The session usually lasts an hour but it may go longer if the client is still exploring a sensation and time allows it. At the end of the session, I invite the client to do a brief integration.
What's the methodology behind the session?
The simple answer is PRH, a comprehensive method of self-discovery that provides tools for personal growth. What I say, what I focus on in my responses is framed by this method. It acts as a backdrop to how I help the client. Because this method recognizes the organic growth of each individual, my responses are never forced, dogmatic, and rarely directive in nature. The main question that guides me during the session is: "As I listen to the client, what do I sense would be most helpful to their growth?"
At an appropriate moment during the session, I may introduce the client to one of the many tools that PRH offers and encourage the client to avail themselves of it for their own growth outside of the session.
What's the fee for the session?
I provide this service for a fee that takes into account what is fair and what you can manage. To date, I have not turned anyone away for financial reasons.
How do I schedule an appointment to try it?
To schedule an appointment, please send me an email. I will respond within 24 hours with information about my availability.
What do clients say about the experience?
"WOW! That I could somehow learn, find, or even better, discover within myself (free for the taking, already there, available, handy, fully mine) the tool, the key, the answer which would set my own self free ... How amazing, how
thrilling is the very idea that this gift, tool, key is already there, inside me, waiting for me to discover it." - P.B.
