About Me
Education

In my late twenties, after many years of academic studies, I discovered PRH (Personality and Human Relationships), a comprehensive method of self-discovery that provided me a frame of reference for learning about who I am, how I function, what brings me joy, and gives meaning to my life.  I have been part of this educational program for over 20 years with nearly 700 hours of instruction.  Of the nearly 25 workshops that I have taken, the ones that are most relevant to my practice of compassionate listening are:
  1. Making Good Decisions
  2. Exploring My Inner World
  3. Understanding Myself In-Depth
  4. Learning How to Receive and Give Help
  5. Becoming Effective in Helping Others
I continue to participate in this life-enriching program on a regular basis.

Experience

I have helped many people along the way, including members of my family.  Even when I am not formally helping people, I bring this aspect of myself to the people I interact with.  This process of listening and receiving people where they are comes naturally to me.  Formally, I help 2-3 people at a time.  I am open to new clients and I regularly invite people to experience this form of helping relationship.
